The one about finishing nursing school

I did it!

I thought I’d just introduce myself and give you some background about me. My name is Sarah Bodley and I’m proud to announce that I have recently finished nursing school at Flinders University in South Australia.

I completed the graduate entry programme, since I have a previous Bachelor’s degree. With credit for prior learning counting toward first year, I completed the nursing course in 2 years (regular pre-registration Bachelor degree is 3 years). So here I am, awaiting the final processing of my registration and looking forward to the official graduation ceremony and starting work as a nurse.

It has always been a dream of mine to become a nurse and I am really thrilled that I get to be a part of this amazing profession. This is what I was born to do.

I’ll write more about my studies and journey to becoming a nurse in the coming posts.

Ciao for now,

-S
